Holiday Letter '07

THE SILCOCK FAMILY
What happened with us in 2007?

Jim (45) “I spent another couple of months in the hospital this year.  I am happy to be home and sore free!”

Ann (44) “I had medical challenges this year myself, but I am back at it!  Please check your blood pressure.”

Kyle B. (29) “I went to Las Vegas twice this year.  I loved playing the slot machines and winning lots of money.”

Chris (29) “I enjoyed going with my brothers to Saddleback Church and then to the movies every Sunday.”

Nathan (27) “I had some construction done at my house.  I am glad it is over.  I like having my own room now.”

Robert (26) “I am excited that I got baptized at my church.  I went on lots of dates with my girlfriend, Kelly.”

Anthony (22) “I loved hanging out with my girlfriend, Jennifer.  I also took a sign language class at college.”

Jonathan (22) “I wrote a new song with Dave Nachmanoff and Jeffrey.  I love being a singer and songwriter.”

William (21) “This is my last year of school.  I am glad that I have a paying job now. I really need the money!”

Hunter (20) “I kept going to college.  I am almost ready to graduate.  I performed my comedy at local clubs.”

Viktor (20) “I am spending time hanging out with my younger brothers. I also worked-out a lot at the club.”

Jimmy (19) “I like my Saturday bowling league.  I got the ‘Chicken Award’ for getting three spares in a row!”

Mathew (19) “I flew went to San Francisco to visit my Russian friends.  I am going on a Mexican cruise soon.”

Nikolai (19) “I got my high school diploma this December. I am training my new deaf and blind puppy, Abel.”

Alex (16) I started Fountain Valley High School in September.  I still play on my computer in my spare time.

Val (16) “I started high school.  My teachers are okay; my classes are easy; and the girls are excellent!”

Max (15) “I finally got adopted this summer.  I’m enjoying my first year of high school, especially the girls!”

Ivan (15) “In July I went on an Alaskan cruise with my grandma. We are going on another cruise in December!”

Javier (15) “I graduated from middle school and started in high school.  The girls are way cuter in high school!”

Michael (15) “I am looking forward to going on a cruise with my grandma this June.  I hope I get adopted soon!”

Phillip (14) “I helped my mom a lot, especially with my new brothers, Patrick and Carlos. They tired me out!”

Jeffrey (14) “I’m still performing with the MYART group. I really hope I get a cell phone this Christmas!”

Alin (14) “I started voice lessons.  I took an acting class and a film-making class.  I’m acting in local theater.”

Paul (13) “I learned how to row this year.  I can row all over the harbor. My arms are really getting stronger.”

Kyle C. (13) “In June I moved to California from Florida.  I like riding my bicycle and building with my Legos.”

George (12) “I love Sowers Middle School.  I like to walk or ride my bike to school. I am in the Young Marines. ”

Grant (12) I liked watching the workers build the new swimming pool next door.  I can’t wait until it finished.

Saul (12) “I studied for my Black Belt test which I will take in April 2008.  I like Sowers Middle School a lot. ”

James (12) “I joined the Saddleback Young Marines.  I started 6th grade and I can tell the girls really like me!”

Justin (11) I have been sick this year.  I’m going to have to start dialysis soon and wait for another new kidney!

Alexander (11) “I had really good behavior this year. I’ve got a lot of 100% on my behavior sheets at school.”

Kavin (11) “Every Monday I ate at Soup Plantation.  On Fridays I spent the night at my Grandma Sue’s house.”

Patrick (11) I love my new family, my brothers and my dogs.  I like going to Chuck-E-Cheese a lot. “Bus is here!” 

Parker (11) I am happy to have a family and live with my twin brother again.  I love going on the bus to school.

Jordan (11) “I am in fourth grade.  I can read chapter books.  I love riding skateboards and playing the drums.”

Jarrod (11) “I helped my favorite little dog, Special Ed. He can’t walk so I help him with everything he needs.”

Yanny (10) I am happy I finally got to movie-in with family.  Now I am looking forward to getting adopted!

Marc (10) “I can do division and it’s easy for me. I am in the forth grade. I got adopted in October 2007.”

Sergei (9) “I joined the Young Marines and I am a Private First Class. I also learned how to play volleyball.”

David (9) “I went to Sports Camp, Volleyball Camp, Camp Jay Nolan, and to two Young Marines encampments.”

Daniel (8) I started a new school this year.  I am trying to learn sign language.  I will be adopted soon!

Dylan (7) “I roller skated, rode my Big Wheel and swam a lot. I also walked my dog, Emelee, at the dog park.”

Shawn (6) I lost my first tooth!  I liked going on the bus all over town, especially to Knott’s Berry Farm.

Carlos (4) I will join my new family soon.  I love playing with all of my brothers, but Phillip is my favorite!
