November 2005
Its hard to believe that Viktor will be 18-years-old in just a few weeks. We
are still planning a special birthday party for him.
Viktor has been helping a lot around the house lately. Several times a week he
loads the Volvo to capacity and takes his younger brothers to their Tae Kwon
Do lessons. Viktor is very patient with his younger brothers and in turn they
are very excited to have their "BIG BROTHER" drive them around. Viktor also
helps with our computer maintenance and repair. It is very helpful to have a
family member who is so talented with computers. Viktor continues to do well
in school. As a junior he has fewer classes this year which, of course, makes
Viktor very happy. Viktor has made so much social, emotional and academic
growth over the past five years. We are very proud of him.
June 2005
Viktor has almost completed his
sophomore year of high school. He has had another great school year as he
continues to progress academically and socially. This school year Viktor
also became an official licensed driver too! Having another driver at
home has been a great help for the family. Since getting his drivers
license, Viktor has also generously helped one of our neighbors, who does
not have a drivers license or a car, with her shopping and errands. This
summer Viktor will attend several wrestling camps with his friends.
Viktor is also looking forward to having his older biological sister, from
Estonia, perhaps visit him over the summer.

June
2004 - Viktor
completed his freshman year at Huntington Beach High School.
He will return as a sophomore in September. Viktor did very well in
high school and ended the school year with a 3.75 grade point average.
Viktor also received second place in his league and division of Wrestling.
Viktor seems to enjoy the freedom of high school and more importantly “the
girls!” Viktor quickly learned his way around the high school
campus. Viktor, who was initially shy, ended the school year with lots of
friends.
Viktor has attended three wrestling
camps this summer. He works out daily and his body is really
changing to that of an athlete.
Viktor is very interested in eating healthy and living a healthy
lifestyle. We are excited that Viktor has been so successful with
his wrestling and look forward to attending his matches next year.
Finally, the best news of all...Viktor passed the written part of his
drivers license test and now has a drivers permit. Viktor will begin
behind-the-wheel drivers training as soon as he returns from his last
wrestling camp. Viktor is eager to drive and we are delighted that
he has worked so hard at learning the rules of the road. We hope
Viktor will be driving by the new year, Viktor, of course hopes it will be
sooner!
